“the Best” Crabs restaurant in Ocean City MD

Crabtastically Creamy in Ocean City North Ocean City, Maryland, right by the Delaware line, is home to The Best Crabs restaurant. This cream of crab soup is a showstopper, pure white and topped with a generous sprinkle of Old Bay. I watched as they carefully placed the crab meat on top, and it was love at first bite. The crab is incredibly fresh, firm, and plentiful—each spoonful was almost entirely crab. The creaminess is unique, milky and sweet, like a tropical getaway in a bowl. It's a sipper, a teaser, a soup that grows on you with every spoonful. The flavor profile is a delightful dance of sweetness and a touch of saltiness, with no sherry in sight. It's a gluten-free gem, thickened with cornstarch, making it lighter and more approachable. The restaurant's bold claim of being the best lives up to its name. The people, the atmosphere, the passion for their craft—it's all part of the experience. And their charity work is as warm as their soup. The staff is incredibly warm and friendly and they have great stories to tell. I was lucky enough to be there when they were hosting a fundraiser for cancer awareness.
